My name is Keira Woods and I’m an actress and aspiring theatre educator based in Albany, NY. I became enamored with theatre at a young age- I place the blame entirely on The Muppets Take Manhattan- and I haven't looked back since. This spring, I will be graduating with my BFA in musical theatre from Nazareth University. 

When not on the stage as an actor, I illustrate a ~fantastical~ webcomic (check it out here!), play the piano, listen to nerdy history podcasts or can be found rollerblading into the sunset on my barbie-pink skates. My interests may be eclectic but they are dear to my heart, and I hope to integrate that sentiment into my ever-expanding creative and theatrical pursuits. There is so much to explore in the world of theatre and the artistic fields that surround it!

I have also begun working as an educator in the capital region, namely teaching middle school improv classes. Which is as wonderfully bizarre and whimsical as you’d expect it to be. My love for theatre and the arts absolutely lies in telling stories and inspiring joy in others, and I hope I am able to do so for a long time to come.
